final impressions blog - April 2007

April 21, 2007 - Great Falls

Taughannock Falls is one of my favorite stops this time of year. With a drop of 215 feet, it is one of the highest on this side of the Rocky Mountains. When we have a good snow melt and recent rain, the falls thunders.

I've also decided to try a new print in my larger 20x32 format, it will make a great print for a special place in someone's home.

April 5, 2007 - Wall Color

I often get questions about how my work will look on different color walls. I've really not seen a color that doesn't work. From deep red, to blue to greens, soft colors and rich bright colors.

Recently, Kay Q. from Virginia was so kind in sending us a picture of one of my prints hanging in her kitchen. It looks great framed in white and works very well in her kitchen. Also note that we string our wires tight so the print rests tight against the wall, and so too did Kay have it wired tight.

Thanks for the picture Kay and we look forward to seeing a picture of the other print when it's up.
