August 4, 2008 - After Holiday in Pa.

On our way back from a trip to Pennsylvania we passed this beautiful field of sunflowersin Wellsboro Junction along route 287. After shooting a couple of field shots I realized I could get the barn in the shot as well. This barn really made the image come to life and provide perspective.

August 8-9, 2008 - Lewiston NY Art Show

What a great show this is! and what a great village. Street shows do not get any better than this. Our location was in Academy park and our show host was great. But best of all, we stayed at Sunny's Roost B&B right in the village within walking distance of our booth and they took very good care of us when our car needed servicing. I followed Bob to a car dealer and after repairs Sunny took us back to the dealer and waited to make sure the car would be ready. You just don't get that kind of help at a hotel/motel, and ... the breakfasts were fantastic!

Many thanks to Sunny and Bob. If we jurry into the show next year we will be returning.

August 17, 2008 - Going in circles in the Gallery

I updated several of the galleries, but found that when I used the Next button, I would get in loops rather than proceed through the gallery. I found out that the gallery pages were cached in my browser, so if I did not reload the page, the old links were on the page, and that was causing the problem.

If you having the same problem and are using FireFox, go to tools/Clear private data and just chec the "Cache" checkbox and say OK. That will reset the pages.

August 24, 2008 - Arts at the Gardens

What a great show this has become. It's one of the highest quality shows in the Northeast. Only 100 artists, on the lawn in front of the Sonnenberg Mansion with each booth set apart by about 5 feet. Arts at the Gardens.
