It was October 14, 2006 and we were on our way back from Pennsylvania. We had driven through sections of very cold air and sections that were 20 warmer. In the colder sections it was snowing and icing, then we would break out into the sun and it would be warm. It was a very unusual day. As we approached Victor New York there was a storm in the distance raining gropple and ice and it was perfectly lit up by the afternoon sun. All I needed for the shot was a good foreground object and this barn served the purpose.
