First Leaves

I had seen this old apple tree standing by itself in a field many times while traveling through Allegheny state Park. The interesting feature about this field is that there's a hill behind it with pine trees, this meant that at the right time of the day when the sun was coming over the top of the hill the pine trees would be in shadow and the tree would be lit. This gave me a wonderful opportunity to capture this old fellow.
